DAY 1:

Hello guys. I have been receiving so much love on my blog, its crazy. I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who read my stuff, like, comment and just shower me with love you’re appreciated.

so…as you may have gathered already, I’m getting out of a slump or at least attempting to, I think I have been in creative ruts since quarantine started but I spent this time showing my fellow bloggers some love and connecting with new bloggers which has been a bunch of fun.

I’m writing this blog as a way to combat laziness. Interesting fact is just as I may be attempting to get out of a slump there is 60% of the world’s population trying to do the same, which goes to affirm just how much the self-improvement industry is booming and will continue to do so for the next upcoming years.

The self-help industry keeps making millions every year, this industry is currently dominating the US and possibly the rest of the world. It is estimated to grow to $13.2 billion by 2022.

I would like to know your thoughts on this and please share how you get out of a rut, it could help someone else. Love and light.

  1. I think the whole lockdown situation has left so many feeling how you are. There was no light at the end of the tunnel and sometimes it still doesnt feel like there is.
Whenever i get in a creative rut i go to friends or family members. Sometimes they come up with great content ideas, even better than what i could have thought of!
You’ll get through this girl 💕

  2. Wellll … kind of like to make the most of the rut and rest. Just rest from all the pressure from having to do. There’s no use worrying about being in a rut and still not creating. You might as well not create but have fun with it. So, I watch shows and funny videos.. anything to make my mind rest and then i start again when I’m ready 💕

  3. I found blogging to be equally awarding. So many good people with similar interests or just with interesting lives they like to share. I have “met” a lot of good people. There are days that my head is empty of creativity, so I just spend that time reading other blogs. Nice to meet you.

  4. we are in a “go, go,go world” and if anything this pandemic may teach us is we MUST have time to slow down. rest and rest often so you can enjoy life. even “ruts” can take you places. i no longer have to work to live so i have LOTS of rest time. remember, to really see you have to look. out of this pandemic, people have found ways to make their mark by producing face covers which are artistic and beneficial.

  5. Self-help and mental health are growing exponentially. It is a blessing and a curse in many ways. Most of the defenses we have against loneliness, isolation, and general ways to keep our emotional health healthy are now taken away. However, the focus on all needs to be an open heart to experimenting with new happiness habits. Thank you for sharing this post. It was beautiful. With more people focusing on this area of needed response, we can begin to curb at least the sense that we are alone in this fight. Stay healthy and strong everyone.

  6. Ups and downs are normal. Markus always reminds me it is the general trajectory that counts. Are things looking up by now? I find that it helps to shake up your routine or at least just do something different in your day. It can be the smallest thing and you can build momentum from there.

    1. Things are slowly starting to look up. Changing your routine really helps, more so when everything starts feeling incredibly monotonous and mundane. Thank you💞
